Happening right now? Call 999 first

Tell them someone is not responding or not breathing. Then open the step by step and it will walk you through the rest, including when the second dose is due.

Three things make you ready

1Have a kit

Free from any drug service, most needle exchanges, some pharmacies, or posted to you in plain packaging. No prescription, no ID, and you do not have to be in treatment.

2Know the signs

An overdose does not look like the films. It looks like heavy snoring in someone you cannot wake. Five things to look for, and the one test that settles it.

3Walk it through once

The order, at the speed it actually happens, with the clock that matters: two to three minutes between doses. Doing it once now is the difference on the night.

Every place that gives it out

Forward Trust hubs are magenta, other local services navy. Postal and online options have no single place, so they are never given a distance and are never pinned. They are the two cards above.
